Economic Outlook

Acreage is blossoming in Garden City! Yes, Garden City property along the Boise River has now turned into multi-million dollar development land and will soon boast the widely anticipated Waterfront District. Soon Garden City will be proud to offer retail shops, fine dining and the Esther Simplot Park and Whitewater Park. Wow, we can hardly wait. The central Idaho resort known as Tamarack has recently reported over 16.5 million dollars in real estate sales. Officials state that this is a sign that Idaho real estate is still in demand even as the nationwide housing market slows. In addition to continued local growth and development, U.S News and World Report recently reported Idaho as a “compelling combination of quality of life and business and economic opportunity!” Wow, sounds like its going to be a great 2008!
