By now we are probably all feeling that little spring in our step and seeing a glow on our loved one's faces. This is truly a special time of year and it's a chance to experience Boise at its finest. Don't miss the many warm and festive events throughout the Treasure Valley, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!!!

A true Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol is playing December 12th thru December 21st at the Boise Little Theatre, this is sure to make any afternoon or evening special for the entire family, performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm and Sunday matinees at 2pm. You still have time to experience the Idaho Botanical Garden in all its glory, and the Winter Garden aGlow, running thru January 2nd at the Old Idaho Penitentiary State Historic Site. What a fantastic season for our Boise State Broncos, WAC champs, aren't we proud!!! Want to see the Boise State Broncos play one more time this season? Then just call your travel agent and join them in Memphis for the Liberty Bowl, what a way to spend New Year's Eve! In addition, tickets still remain for our own Bowl Game; the MPC Computer's Bowl on December 27th, with kickoff at noon. Our beloved Steelies play at home this month on the 10th and 11th against the Las Vegas Wranglers and one more time on the 31st (yep New Year's Eve). Our Idaho Stampede is in full gear; see them play at the Idaho Center on the 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 23rd and 30th.
Only Nevada and Utah are currently outpacing Idaho in terms of annual percentage growth. The latest non-agricultural employment figures indicate that Idaho is not only adding jobs, but that we are doing it at a pace that is twice the national average. From commercial construction volume totaling 19.8 million last month, to downtown development (BODO's) in full swing and another increase in residential home sales, things are again, lookin' good. If you are planning on relocating to the area, you may be able to not only find, but "take your pick" as far as jobs; the retail, tourism and manufacturing sectors (to name just a few) all anticipate adding jobs in 2005, looks like we will be maintaining that fast pace! All forecasts point to looking back on a prosperous 2004 and expectations for the same type of momentum next year!
